“Enjoy four days of mind-blowing landscapes and jaw-dropping wildlife encounters on Isabela Island!”
Choosing this active adventure itinerary on Isabela Island offers you 4 days of mind-blowing landscapes and jaw-dropping wildlife encounters! You will enjoy hiking and biking along the famed Wall of Tears and many beaches, as well as opportunities to kayak and snorkel through the incredible Tintoreras in the company of tropical fish species and white-tipped sharks! And as you walk through ancient lava tunnels, you can try to imagine how the islands were once formed as you examine their walls closely. It is both a magical and exciting experience waiting for your arrival!
Upon your arrival to the Galapagos Islands at Baltra Island’s airport, a representative will meet you to assist with transportation so you can board a speedboat in Puerto Ayora that will take you to Isabela Island. This will be a navigation of about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Puerto Villamil on Isabela Island, a driver will be awaiting you with a transfer to take you to your hotel. Activities: Speedboat transfer
Your first visit is Los Tuneles. It is a spectacular site for snorkeling due to the crystal-clear and shallow waters, providing a home to this sea sanctuary. You will walk along incredible lava formations and lava tunnels formed millions of years ago. When you begin to snorkel in the clear waters, you might see white-tipped sharks, manta rays, Galapagos penguins, sea lions, sea turtles, sea horses, sea snakes, and other tropical species.
In the afternoon you visit Tintoreras Islet where different tunnels and passageways were naturally formed by hardened lava. You have opportunities to see blue-footed boobies, Galapagos penguins, pelicans, and Galapagos sea birds resting on the rocks or diving for fish. The snorkeling activity allows you to view the underwater world and kayaking is an experience to explore the extraordinary landscape and view the wildlife from the surface of the water. Afterwards you’ll return to Puerto Villamil. Activities: Snorkel, walk and kayak
You will leave for Trillizos, a complex of three volcanoes in the hottest and most abundant area of vegetation on Isabela Island. You’ll begin an underground adventure in the volcano discovering the colors and beauty of the petrified lava flows. During the visit take notice of the rock formations, domes and tunnels, while against the darkness minerals reflect and sparkle before your eyes. After the visit you will return for lunch.
In the afternoon you will head out for another adventure traveling to the Wall of Tears. It can be done on either bicycle or walking, whichever you prefer! On the trail you can view giant tortoises in the wild, “El Estero”, the only place where you can see the four endemic types of Galapagos mangroves, the lookout point called “Cerro Orchilla”, and finally the historic “Wall of Tears”. Once a penal colony for prisoners from Ecuador mainland, banished to confinement in none other than the barren and isolated Galapagos Islands! Activities: Walk, biking
After a delicious farewell breakfast, you will be transferred in the early morning to the harbor of Puerto Villamil in order to board a speedboat back to Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz. This navigation will take about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Puerto Ayora a driver will be waiting for you to continue the transfer to Itabacca Channel to cross to Baltra Island, and back to the airport for your departing flight.

Hola Maria, I have been traveling globally since the mid-1970s. And so I have worked with many travel companies and agents.
I can say without reservation that Sofia has been EXCELLENT (10+)! She is professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I will certainly recommend her and your company to all family and friends interested in visiting the Galapagos Islands or Ecuador.
We really have had the most wonderful trip in Ecuador! So glad we could make the last minute switch from Peru to the Rainforest. We were thinking that your initial suggestion for having us go to Cuenca was probably better still as we have heard great things about that place. That means we will need to come back to Ecuador again. We also wanted to go to the cloud forest.
We look forward to working with you again next time!!
